WELCOME TO WOTESAWA!

The Voice of
Domestic Workers.

Tanzania has around 1.1 million domestic workers, making up 5% of the working-age population. The majority are girls (10-17) and women (18-40) from rural areas.

Due to weak law enforcement, poverty, lack of education, and societal perceptions, 56% face physical abuse, while 45% experience economic exploitation.
